Framing

We are a small yet very experienced company with over 30 years in the industry between us. We offer a wide, diverse range of framing options and all our frames are carefully hand made in our workshop in Birmingham. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, from traditional to contemporary modern frames.

Whatever your needs we will be happy to help you choose the best framing option for you and your budget. We have an extensive range of frames, finishes, mount colours, glazing options etc. We also offer a more specialised hand finish which is completely customisable, with colour matching, distressing, staining and waxing with a wide selection of untreated natural hardwood frames as a base, giving you even more choice, and a high end bespoke finish.

We use a range of suppliers to give you the most choice but make sure all our wood comes from sustainable sources, with our main supplier of bare wood mouldings using FSC certified wood. For more information visit FSC.

We also have the facilities to frame to archival conservation standards, up to a museum standard, as well as object framing and bespoke frame design for specific pieces. 

All our frames are made to a basic conservation standard. As our standard we use a white core mount board that is PH neutral adhering to FATG Mountboard Standard: Level 3. We use a PH neutral tape for hinging artwork and a kraft board backing board rather than MDF.
